My name is Rachel Mullin.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to be a television writer. I brought with me the stories of New England, of being the eldest daughter in a matriarchy, of travel and sacrifice in the name of ambition. I gave tours at Paramount Studios, telling the stories of Lucille Ball and Rudolph Valentino. I’ve worked in the production and writing offices on a number of shows, helping to tell the stories of doctors and pie-makers and survivors. I temp all over the city, filling in the spaces where I am needed, observing the cultures people make.
These are my stories, as told in words and pictures and the things I make.
